Don't worry our map section contains everything you need to know to find events and venues in your area so you can show your voice and be heard. You will be able to find anything here whether that be rallies, voter registration venues, post offices for mail-in voting, it's here.
Hosting or Sharing events and venues
Are you organizing an event, but are struggling to get it out there? Well, our setup feature will allow you to do so. Whether you are organizing an event, sharing one of your friends, or stumbled upon something one you found and thought others should know about it, fill out the form so it will show up on the map so others can see it! Share quite literally any event or venue which will help local communities with activism and politics.

Don't know which events to attend? Head over to the reccomendations section and let our algorithim do the work. Using your interests and Radar.io to calculate distance, we will display events and venues which are suited for you!
Why our website is needed
Local rallies and activism is the best way for voices to be heard.
Small, local rallies are often times the best way to reach a communities city council, however, it is hard for them to catch traction. Many community members don't know where to go to find these events and venues, and our website aims to solve this. We created this website so that it would be convient for users to find anything regarding activism, polotics, and now voting, becuase it is hard to find these things.
Finding these events can take quite a bit of time, and the reason many people don't end up attending is because they don't have the time to poke around the web and find local events and venues. Our web app makes it very easy to find local events just by the click of a mouse. Search your area and click on the markers to find events and be lead straight to their website to find more.

Note: You don't need to be the organizer of the event to fill out the form. If you stumble upon a rally, protest, important social event, support gatherings, or anything of the sorts, which is not on our map, please feel free to fill out the form with the needed information. Also you can add venues such as post offices for mail-in voting. Anything that will help the public!

What type of events are on the map?
Events on the map can be anything which affects communities socially and politcally. This means they can be voter registration venues, community service events, political rallies, and much more!

Can I sign up for events through the website?
As of now we do not have that functionality. However, we do lead you straight to the event's website where you can sign up. In the future, we plan on adding this so it will be even easier.

How does the recommendation algorithim work?
Our recommendation algorithim intakes the user's two preferred event types and then finds events suited for the user. From here it narrows down the events to events only within a certain distance of the user. We are able to do this with Radar.io.
